Tools required : Get Small Head screwdriver & flat head screwdriver
First ( 1 ) : Start by sliding the battery locking latch towards the unlocked position and remove the battery.
Second ( 2 ) : Now, loosen the door screw and remove the door from the base.
Third ( 3 ) : Next is to separate the memory clips until the memory lifts up and then repeat the process for the second clip.
Forth ( 4 ) : Now, remove the two bottom hinge screws.
Fifth ( 5 ) : Now, carefully remove both the screw hole covers from the bottom of the laptop and take out the screws.
Sixth ( 6 ) : Now, remove the optical drive locking screw and slide the optical drive out of the laptop.
Seventh ( 7 ) : Next you should remove all hard drive screws.
Eighth ( 8 ) : Dell notifies that some of the models do not use keyboard screws while some will have only 1, and some will have 2. You may also see it above the name plate on the bottom of the laptop.
Ninth ( 9 ) : On the bottom of the laptop, remove the 4 screw covers and remove all bottom palm rest of screws.
Tenth ( 10 ) : Now, turn the laptop over and open it up.
Elevnth ( 11 ) : Now, using a scribe or a flat head screw driver carefully press in the 4 latches that allow the keyboard to lift up.
Twelth ( 12 ) : Carefully lift up the keyboard and turn it over.
Thirtheen ( 13 ) : Unplug the keyboard cable and remove the keyboard from the laptop.
Fourteen ( 14 ) : Remove all uper cover rest screws.
Fifteen ( 15 ) : Unplug the 3 palm rest cables and very carefully unsnap the palm rest from the laptop.
Sixteen ( 16 ) : Lift the hard drive and connector out of the laptop.
Seventeen ( 17 ) : Unplug the display cable and the antenna cables.
Eighteen ( 18 ) : Unscrew the both left and right hinge screws.
Nineteen ( 19 ) : Now, lift the display away from the laptop.
Twenty ( 20 ) : Turn the laptop over and carefully pry the clips.
Twenty One ( 21 ) : Next, remove the rear hinge cover.
Twenty Two ( 22 ) : Unplug the VGA USB circuit board cable, speakers and the SD card reader.
Twenty Three ( 23 ) : Remove all the 2mm x 3mm screws and lift the motherboard from the base.
Twenty Four ( 24 ) : Finally, lift the Dell Inspiron N5010 Laptop Speakers away from the base.
